    Introduction to

   Hyperbaric Medicine

 A Hands on approach to training in the

 Introduction to Hyperbarics.

Candidates will need access to a hyperbaric Chamber.

 

This Program is intended to educate divers and support staff about the general use of Hyperbaric Chambers and covers the

follow information: 

• The Need for Hyperbaric Chambers / Accidents Requiring Chamber
• Treatments. The principles of HBO Hyperbaric Therapy.
• How a Chamber Works - Types of Chambers and Uses.
• Decompression Vs Recompression. Operators & Tenders Roles.
• The program should end with a group "Dry Dive" to at least 20m/66´Ft.

Program can be completed in 4 hours with a Slide or Power point Presentation and IHMP issues a Certificate of Hyperbaric Experience. (This could be useful for future training in Chamber Operations or for a Tender Position.
