A Hands on approach to training in the
Introduction to Hyperbarics.
Candidates will need access to a hyperbaric
Chamber.
This Program is intended to educate divers and support staff about the general use of Hyperbaric Chambers and covers the
follow information:
- The Need for Hyperbaric Chambers / Accidents Requiring Chamber
- Treatments. The principles of HBO Hyperbaric Therapy.
- How a Chamber Works - Types of Chambers and Uses.
- Decompression Vs Recompression. Operators & Tenders Roles.
- The program should end with a group "Dry Dive" to at least 20m/66´Ft.
Program can be completed in 4 hours with a Slide or Powerpoint Presentation and IHMP issues a Certificate of Hyperbaric Experience. (This could be useful for future training in Chamber Operations or for a Tender Position.
